Theo earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2001. The focus of his Ph.D. thesis was the development of a performance approach to construction safety and health. As a researcher and professor, Theo shared his expertise with students from 7 different universities over the years. He also held several leadership roles in the construction industry and academia, including acting as the Director of Building Construction Science at the Mississippi State University.
