Dr Hendrik F. Prinsloo

With over 20 years in leadership roles in construction management & claim consulting, Hendrik Prinsloo brings in-depth expertise analyzing construction delay claims and contract disputes. In his career, Dr. Prinsloo has acted as decision maker on over $3 billion in complex construction projects, including the prestigious Freedom Park developed for Nelson Mandela. He is a past president of the Association of Schools of Construction and has served as a professor in construction management in one of the world’s top universities.

Hendrik is a recognized international speaker and author of numerous published articles on claim analysis and dispute resolution. The second edition of his popular book titled Delay Analysis Simplified – A Step-by-Step Guide for the Analysis and Formulation of Delay Claims was recently published. He holds a PhD degree in delay analysis and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate development. He has a proven track record of leading large scale claim assignments and acting as an expert witness on construction delay related disputes. Dr. Prinsloo has also served as a qualified construction adjudicator.

Prof Theo Haupt

Prof Theo is recognized as a world-renowned expert in the field of construction health and safety. His 3 books on the application of construction health and safety are utilized as industry reference guides and as prescribed textbooks at various universities. Theo earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2001. The focus of his Ph.D. thesis was the development of a performance approach to construction safety and health. As a researcher and professor, Theo shared his expertise with students from 7 different universities over the years. He also held several leadership roles in the construction industry and academia, including acting as the Director of Building Construction Science at the Mississippi State University.

Prof Theo’s published more than 50 articles in research journals over the years dealing with a wide variety of construction health and safety-related topics. He is also an accomplished international speaker who is often invited to share his expertise in construction health and safety with audiences around the world.

Frans Taljaard

For more than 15 years Frans Taljaard has been leading the Cost Management for mega projects in several countries around the world. As the leader of cost engineering teams, he successfully delivered pre-contract Cost Plans and Feasibility Studies, and managed the assessments of Cost, Change, and Contractual issues for the Client and Contractor alike.

With his many years of experience in claim formulation for major construction projects Frans often advises clients on the most appropriate contract forms to meet their needs in terms of responsibilities, change, payments, and risk minimization strategies.

Frans is a Chartered Member of the RICS and the ICCP (Institute of Construction Claims Professionals).

Kobus le Roux

Kobus has more than 15 years of professional experience in project management, planning, project controls, dispute resolution and forensic delay analysis. He is a recognized subject matter expert on the application of time and scheduling within the project management industry and also a regular contributor to publications and advisory notes for various other industry publications

Kobus acted as an expert witness and delay analysts in numerous adjudications, arbitration, and litigation matters of a complex factual-, technical- and legal nature.

As a training facilitator, Kobus provides CPD training activities to professionals in the industry and he is also a regular guest lecturer at various tertiary institutions. As an experienced scheduler of complex projects, Kobus provides expert instruction on scheduling principles and practical application of scheduling on software such as MS Project, CCS Candy, Primavera P6 and Synchro Pro.

Kobus is a certified planning professional (PMI-SP) and a member of the Association of Arbitrators (A.A.Arb).
